About The Author
Jason Douglas
Jason Douglas
Jason Douglas is a Ringo Award-winning, Michigan-based author of graphic novels and stage plays. With 26 years of experience as a public school teacher, he recently realized a long-held childhood dream of writing comics. His debut book, Parallel, published by Source Point Press, achieved a sell-out status, led to a special edition, and earned critical acclaim, including two Ringo Award nominations.
His second project, Jane American, became the first self-published book to win Best Original Graphic Novel at the Ringo Awards. This WWII coming-of-age story, inspired by and dedicated to his late grandparents, is now available in hardcover and softcover editions from Mad Cave-Papercutz/Simon & Schuster.
Jason’s latest graphic novel, No Man’s Land, is a WWI werewolf chiller that delves into the horrors of war, childhood trauma, friendship, and betrayal.
Recently, Jason was recognized as a finalist for the Gary Reed Independent Creator of the Year award.
Annie Wright
Annie Wright is a two-time Ringo Award winner, securing accolades in 2025 for Favorite New Talent and for her illustration work on the Best Original Graphic Novel, Jane American.
