Lu Shengli
About the Authors
Lu Shengli has dedicated his life to mastering the internal styles of Taijiquan, Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, and other traditional martial arts. Beginning in the 1970s, he trained under the tutelage of master Luo Shuhuan and grandmaster Wang Peisheng. Since 1984, he has been a martial arts instructor in Beijing, holding positions with the Beijing Wu Style Taiji Quan Association and the Beijing Information Technology Institute.
Zhang Yun, a native of Beijing, China, is a devoted student of Luo Shuhuan and Wang Peisheng. Residing near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he has been teaching internal martial arts in the United States since 1989. He serves as the president and head instructor of the Yin Cheng Gong Fa Association, North American Headquarters. Zhang Yun has authored over fifteen articles and is the author of The Art of Chinese Swordsmanship: A Manual of Taiji Jian.
Susan Darley, Ph.D., has been a student of Taijiquan under Zhang Yun since 1995. She actively participates in teaching classes and seminars alongside Zhang Yun and contributes to the writing of books and articles.
