About The Author
Carol L. Malnor
Carol Malnor is the co-author of Dawn Publication’s Teacher Guide Series. Carol has taught elementary through high school and co-directed the Education for Life Foundation. She works with her co-author husband, Bruce, as an educational consultant leading teacher training workshops.
Anisa Claire Hovemann has always been an artist. As a three year-old, she would form remarkably lifelike dinosaurs out of her colorful playdough. At the Waldorf elementary school she attended, her artistic tendencies fit naturally into the curriculum. She is graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, with a degree in fine arts. She currently lives in Nevada City, California. Anisa has illustrated two books for Dawn Publications: Eliza and the Dragonfly (winner of the 2005 International Reading Association’s Best Children’s Book Award) and If You Give a T-Rex a Bone.
