Gerard Way
Gerard Way is a singer, songwriter, and comic book writer, best known as the lead singer of the band My Chemical Romance. He toured with the band from 2001 to 2013, achieving significant fame and critical acclaim. Way is also the Eisner Award-winning writer behind the comic book series The Umbrella Academy and The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
Shaun Simon is a former keyboardist and founder of the New Jersey band Pencey Prep. After the band’s breakup in 2002, he toured with Gerard Way’s band, My Chemical Romance, where many of the ideas for the Killjoys comic book series began to form. Simon has also been recognized for his flash fiction, winning the Preditors & Editors readers poll for his story “Snowman.” He resides in Montclair, New Jersey.
Becky Cloonan is a comic book artist, writer, and creator. A graduate of New York’s School of Visual Arts, she has contributed to various notable comic projects including Channel Zero: Jennie One, 9-11, MySpace Dark Horse Presents, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Conan the Barbarian.
