What They're Saying

Critics Review

“A balance between heightened narration and colloquial dialogue, superb graphic storytelling with extended wordless action sequences, energetic backmatter and a palpable fondness for the subject matter.” –Kirkus Reviews

“The author’s affection for his subject is evident in a chatty note. Profiles of major characters, notes, and discussion questions appear in addition to the usual back matter. An exceptional graphic novel.” –Paula Willey, Baltimore County Public Library, Towson, MD, School Library Journal

Praise for the Olympians series:

“The generation weaned on the Marvel Universe will find much to love in O’Connor’s 12-book series. He faithfully depicts the origin stories and exploits of the major gods and goddesses, but in the style and language of classic superhero comics.” –New York Times

“Definitely worth a visit for any young demigod.” –Rick Riordan, author of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series

“This series is a must for every graphic novel collection.” –SLJ Good Comics for Kids

“A first-rate series.” –Kirkus Reviews
