Dennis Messner grew up in rural Missouri writing and drawing stories about animal misfits and underdogs. He bombed school art, receiving marks for exhibiting “little to no self-control.” Later, Dennis combined his love of misfits and his short attention span to create, storyboard, write, design, and/or produce animated projects and TV shows for studios such as Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney, and DreamWorks. He has also illustrated a series of children’s books and had a short stint as a syndicated cartoonist. Dennis lives in Los Angeles and, when not doodling, is probably traveling, reading out-of-print manga, feeding a crow, or eating a potato.
