A lifelong reader, Weber wanted to write stories about ordinary people experiencing extraordinary circumstances.

When he’s not connecting with readers through his books, Weber is dedicated to discovering new talent for his publishing company, Urban Books. His latest venture, Urban Books Media, is a production company that is adapting several of his novels into films. His films, The Man in 3B, The Preacher’s Son, and Influence, are available on streaming services. His television series, The Family Business, is currently airing on BET+.

C. N. Phillips is most known for her daring, gritty detail and her ability to weave intricate stories. She most enjoys when her audience trusts her enough to follow her into the depths of her narratives. Currently signed to Carl Weber’s publishing house, Urban Books, C.
