John Malone is chairman of Liberty Media, Liberty Broadband, and Liberty Global. He served as chief executive officer of Tele-Communications Inc., the largest cable operator in the US, from 1973 to 1999, culminating in its merger with AT&T Corp.
A recognized pioneer in television, internet, and digital media, Malone is widely celebrated for his leadership in the media and telecommunications industries. Beyond his professional achievements, he is a dedicated philanthropist, contributing significantly to medicine and education. Today, he is among the largest landowners in America, with a substantial portion of his land designated for conservation. Malone is also an enthusiastic rancher, land manager, conservationist, hotelier, and horse trader.
