Belinda Murrell began writing tales of adventure, mystery, and magic at a young age. As an adult, she worked as a travel writer, journalist, and public relations consultant. Inspired by her own children, Belinda is now an award-winning, internationally published children’s author with a family history of writing spanning over 200 years. Her titles include The Golden Tower, The Sun Sword trilogy, and the time-slip adventures The Locket of Dreams, The Ruby Talisman, The Ivory Rose, The Forgotten Pearl, The River Charm, The Sequin Star, and The Lost Sapphire. For younger readers, Belinda has the Lulu Bell and Pippa’s Island series. Belinda lives in Manly with her husband Rob, their three children - Nick, Emily and Lachlan - and their dog Rosie. She is an Author Ambassador for Room to Read and Books in Homes.

Serena Geddes is an international author and illustrator who has worked for Disney Studios, teaches art, and loves dogs. She has illustrated over seventy titles, from picture books to middle grade readers, and is stepping into the world of graphic novels. Serena’s work includes the Lulu Bell series, We Are Matildas, and the comic series Miles From Home. As a Disney artist, she worked on sequels to The Lion King, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, and Jungle Book.
