Hugo Pratt
Hugo Pratt, one of the 20th century’s greatest artists, continues to influence comic art today. He created the internationally popular comic book character, Corto Maltese, in 1967, following 20 years of prior work in comics. In 1959, he moved to London and worked for Fleetway on their War Picture Library line of comics. He won countless awards for his work before his death in 1995.
