About The Author
Hans P. Bacher
Production designer Hans P Bacher is a legend in animation film design with over 40 years of industry experience. He currently resides in Singapore, sharing his expertise with students at Nanyang Technological University.
Sanatan Suryavanshi, co-author, is an Art Director based in Toronto. A Sheridan College graduate, he studied under Hans Bacher and has collaborated with him since the book’s inception. Over seven years, he contributed to the concept, visuals, and text. Suryavanshi previously served as Art Director at Guru Studio for Cartoon Saloon’s The Breadwinner, overseeing light and color design for the ‘storyworld’ sequences. He was also Guru Studio’s lead development designer, creating original looks for projects like True and the Rainbow Kingdom and Midnight. Currently, he balances development work on feature films, production design for a Cartoon Network show, and his role as Creative Director at Crush Visual development studio.
