Elizabeth Barrett Browning was a Victorian poet known for her emotional and socially conscious poetry. Living most of her life in seclusion due to chronic spinal pain, she penned hundreds of poems during her lifetime and published thirteen collections before her death.
Pelé Cox
Pelé Cox is a poet, performance artist, and filmmaker. She holds an MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia, where she studied under Andrew Motion. She has been Poet in Residence at Tate Modern, the Royal Academy of Arts, Keats-Shelley House, and the British School at Rome. She is also a visiting tutor at the University of Westminster, London. Her verse “Cento” appears as a frieze on the four walls of Building 7 at Chelsea Barracks, London.
