Jim Zub

Jim Zub is a writer, artist, and editor. He is best known for the comic series Skullkickers, which launched in 2010 and ran for 33 issues, and his work on Conan.

Zub’s career began in 2001 with his first comic, Makeshift Miracle. He has since written for various publishers and franchises, including IDW, Marvel, and Cartoon Network. His notable works include comics for Street Fighter, Samurai Jack, Thunderbolts, Uncanny Avengers, Dungeons and Dragons, and Wolverine. He also created the series Wayward.

In 2019, Zub wrote Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons: Chapter II: Painscape, which was nominated for the 2022 Eisner Award for ‘Best Graphic Album’. Throughout his career, he has received and been nominated for numerous awards, including the Web Cartoonists’ Choice Award, Yalsa, Animex, and the Joe Shuster Canadian Comic Award for Outstanding Writer.
