About The Author

Don Kraar

CHUCK DIXON is a prolific comic book writer, best known for his work on action-packed series such as Batman, Nightwing, and The Punisher. Renowned for his fast-paced, gritty storytelling, Dixon’s contributions to Savage Sword highlight his talent for crafting intense, character-driven sword-and-sorcery adventures.

DOUG MOENCH is an American comic book writer notable for his Batman work and as the co-creator of Black Mask, Moon Knight, Deathlok and Bane. His work with artist Paul Gulacy on Master of Kung Fu remains a much-heralded comic book run and resulted in many more collaborations including the Conan story in this collection.

DON KRAAR broke into comics as a writer in the early 1970s with short stories for DC’s anthology titles. He became one of the mainstays of Marvel’s Conan comics line in the ’80s with work on The Savage Sword of Conan, two Conan graphic novels and an extended run on Conan the King that saw the character expand his empire.
