Mark Harrison
Mark Harrison began his career by writing and illustrating the strip “The Travellers” for White Dwarf Magazine. In 1994, he started working on 2000 AD, redesigning the Strontium Dog character Durham Red for a solo series. He has since illustrated several strips for “Galaxy’s Greatest Comic,” including Judge Dredd, Glimmer Rats, Pulp Sci-Fi, Strontium Dogs, The Ten-seconders, Damnation Station, and Grey Area.
Harrison also joined Rebellion, the owners of 2000 AD, as Head of Concept in their games development division. He worked on Star Wars: Battlefront (PSP), Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, and Aliens vs. Predator (Xbox 360 and PS3). He was also the original cover artist for Rebellion’s Abaddon Books fiction imprint.
Beyond 2000 AD and Rebellion, he has provided covers for Dark Horse’s Star Wars series and colored Doctor Fate for DC Comics. Mark is proud to have a film credit for costume design in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets as a competition winner.
Dan Abnett
Dan Abnett is a seven-time New York Times bestselling author and an award-winning comic book writer. He has written over fifty novels, including the acclaimed Gaunt’s Ghosts series, the Eisenhorn and Ravenor trilogies, volumes of the million-selling Horus Heresy series, Rocket Raccoon and Groot: Steal the Galaxy, The Avengers: Everybody Wants To Rule The World, The Wield, Triumff: Her Majesty’s Hero, and Embedded.
In comics, he is known for his work on The Legion of Super-Heroes, Aquaman, The Titans, Nova, Wild’s End, and The New Deadwardians. His 2008 run on The Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel formed the inspiration for the blockbuster movie.
A regular contributor to the UK’s long-running 2000 AD, he is the creator of series including Grey Area, Lawless, Brink, Kingdom, and the classic Sinister Dexter. He has also written extensively for the games industry, including Shadow of Mordor and Alien: Isolation. Dan lives and works in the UK.
