About The Author
Jody Duncan
Stan Winston is the world’s foremost creator of make-up, creature and character designs. The winner of four Academy Awards, three British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards, two Emmys and numerous other industry awards, Winston originally came to Hollywood to become an actor. While looking for work in 1969, he became a make-up apprentice at Disney Studios - a “day job” that quickly evolved into a stellar career, encompassing commercials, television and film.
