What They're Saying

Critics Review

Equal parts hippy travelogue and pulp existential thriller … a witty and weird tale with shades of both Philip K Dick, and Kieron Gillen/Jamie McKelvie’s comic The Wicked + The Divine.

Praise for Farundell, L. R. Fredericks’ first novel:

Farundell is a marvellously dark and intricate literary gothic novel. The style is elegant and engaging and the storyline compelling. This is an author to watch.

The Book of Luce isn’t so much a novel as it is a life experience. The less you know going in, the more you will enjoy this twisted, enigmatic, psychedelic mind-fuck of a book that is truly a slice of magic and a work of imaginative genius. - Starburst
