“Beautifully written, wonderfully gothic, haunting, atmospheric, and dripping with intrigue”
– Sam Blake, international best-selling author, short-listed for the Irish crime novel of the year award and chair of the Society of Authors
“A masterclass from one of detective fiction’s brightest stars. Charlotte Blood might be my favourite heroine of the Golden Age Mystery renaissance, and Threefold Death is a perfect showcase for her (and her creator’s) prodigious talent. Outstanding.”
– Tom Mead, author of the Joseph Spector series
“A quietly subversive triumph.”
– Tom Benjamin, author of the Daniel Leicester series
“The murder is multilayered, literally and figuratively. I loved watching the discoveries unfold. Victoria (an expert on Agatha Christie) is brilliant at bringing the Golden Age back to life. A treat!”
