Crystal Corocher
Crystal Corocher is an author and editor of stories for children and young adults. She is also a library and literacy coordinator, driven by a passion to see more children reading more books. Although she currently calls Melbourne home, Crystal grew up on a farm in Northern NSW. The character ‘Lightning’ Lizzy is a tribute to the innovative, resilient, and legendary women she has encountered in the agricultural industry, particularly her own mother.
Rebel is an artist and wildlife carer residing on a leafy acreage in Queensland, accompanied by her chickens and ducks. With a background as a working art director and graphic designer, and a prior science degree from her aspirations of becoming a park ranger, Rebel’s artwork is deeply influenced by the animals she cares for, those that visit her property, and the diverse wildlife she hopes to encounter globally.
