About The Author

Fotini Tikkou

Jess Sanders is a social worker and bestselling, award-winning author of books including Love Your Body, Be Your Own Man and the Life Lessons for Little Ones series. Jess has a passion for creating resources that nurture positive mental health and promote gender equality. Every project she pursues is born from the question, ‘Why does it have to be this way?’. Jess is regularly invited to speak on radio and at events about her work and her books.

Fotini Tikkou was born in Athens, graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 2009 and has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since. She is currently based in Athens where she lives with her partner and daughter. Her favourite mediums are gouache, watercolor and colour pencils. She also loves collage and sometimes she combines traditional and digital techniques. Her illustration style ranges from cute to funny and often portrays diversity and body acceptance in her artwork.
