Kevin McCloskey
Kevin McCloskey loved to ride his bike, paint pictures, and tell stories when he was seven years old. He grew up to become a college professor, teaching art and illustration at Kutztown University for thirty years. Now retired, he is the author of the critically acclaimed TOON Books “Giggle and Learn” series. His first TOON Book, We Dig Worms, was described by The New York Times as “a winning combination of facts and gross-out fun.” The series began when his wife, a librarian, asked for a fun worm book for the library. This led to an informative and silly story that evolved into a beloved series of six books. To this day, Kevin McCloskey still loves to ride his bike, paint pictures, and tell stories.
