What They're Saying

Critics Review

“Cardoselli’s hyper-detailed, endlessly creative art suggests a chunkier, funnier version of artists like Moebius and Geoff Darrow. The action moves quickly, leaving readers wanting more. It’s a cheerfully nihilistic ramble through a wild, deadly wasteland that feels eerily prescient.” * Publishers Weekly *“The chaotic nature of the narrative is served perfectly by Cardoselli’s (Sweet Downfall) bumpy, blotchy, almost infected-looking illustrations of grotesque human forms, nightmare landscapes, and the occasional elegant pink flamingo. […] Delightfully sinister and gleefully borrowing from its apocalyptic forbears, this is a fatalistic fever dream.” – Emilia Packard * Library Journal *“Cardoselli’s artwork is what truly brings this story to life. His chunky lines and generally dirty pages fit in perfectly with his tale of a trashed and abandoned Earth.” * Comicon.com *“Strange, surreal, intelligent, and deeply compelling.” – David Brooke * AIPT *“Don’t Spit in the Wind is engrossing and captivating as uniquely envisioned by Cardoselli. Reminiscent of Wall-E with the mysterious tension of a Hitchcock thriller, the first issue expertly introduces readers to a funky future world that shames humanity’s failings while establishing a dark twist all its own. Nothing looks like Don’t Spit in the Wind […]” – Hank Rea * Lotusland Comics *“Cardoselli’s storytelling about cynical trash cleaners adds a murderous twist to an intriguing mystery, and Dan Lee’s coloring makes Cardoselli’s unique art style significantly better.” – Gabriel Hernandez * Comical Opinions *“Paints a great picture of the dystopian world that humanity has caused.” * You Promised Me Comics *
