Alyson Gurney
Alyson Gurney is a 23-year-old Washington D.C.-based artist. She is the creative force behind Little Felted Friends, a viral Instagram account and brand where she handmakes miniature felted replicas of animals.
Gurney’s passion for felting began when she sculpted a tiny version of her own dog, Drift, and subsequently started creating them for friends. Upon sharing her work online, her account gained rapid popularity, transforming her hobby into a full-time career.
She has created felted animals for notable figures such as Kelly Clarkson, Paris Hilton, and Michael Strahan. Her work has also been featured in publications and on media outlets including The Kelly Clarkson Show, Bored Panda, The Daily Mail, and FOX News. Gurney is a graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design.
