Alyson Gurney
Alyson Gurney is a 23-year-old Washington D.C.-based artist. She is the creator of Little Felted Friends, a popular Instagram account and brand specializing in handmade felted animal replicas.
Gurney’s felting passion started when she sculpted a miniature version of her dog, Drift, and then began creating pieces for friends. Her online posts of these creations quickly went viral, transforming her hobby into a full-time career.
She has created felted pieces for notable figures such as Kelly Clarkson, Paris Hilton, and Michael Strahan. Her work has also been featured on platforms including The Kelly Clarkson Show, Bored Panda, The Daily Mail, and FOX News. Gurney is a graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design.
