Alyson Gurney
Alyson Gurney is a 23-year-old Washington D.C.-based artist. She is the creator of Little Felted Friends, a viral Instagram account and brand featuring her handmade felted animal replicas.
Gurney’s felting journey started with a miniature sculpture of her dog, Drift, and soon expanded to creating pieces for friends. Her online posts of these creations went viral, transforming her hobby into a full-time career.
She has created felted figures for celebrities such as Kelly Clarkson, Paris Hilton, and Michael Strahan. Her work has also been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Bored Panda, The Daily Mail, and FOX News. Gurney is a graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design.
