Marije Vogelzang
Marije Vogelzang is a pioneer in the field of eating design, described as a ‘Grand Dame’ in the field. After directing two experimental restaurants for the first 7 years of her career, she shifted focus to solo exhibitions on the global stage. In 2008, her book EAT LOVE was published, providing insight into the first 10 years of her career.
After 16 years of experience, Vogelzang is considered a pioneer and the ‘Grand dame’ in the field of eating design. She works on restaurant concepts, long-term medical projects for hospitals, social projects like educational workshops, and extensive work for food industries. She designs art installations and has curated well-received exhibitions about eating and design. She recently became head of a new bachelor department about food at the Design Academy Eindhoven called FOOD NON FOOD. Her work has been published and acknowledged globally.
Vogelzang gives inspirational lectures around the world about her work and vision. She has received accolades for her lectures in cities including Cape Town, New York, Beirut, Bangkok, Dubai, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Norway, Rumania, and Berlin.
