Christy Ewers
Christy Ewers has been writing this book her whole life, but she wasn’t sure how it would end until a real-life “Gus” mistook her kindness for weakness. When she’s not writing, Christy works as an agent for children’s book writers and illustrators. She represents some of the kindest, most talented people making books today—including Rob Sayegh Jr.! Christy likes pitbulls, the Red Sox, exclamation points, and big smiles. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, two children, and two dogs. This is her first published book, but certainly not her last.
Rob Sayegh Jr. is on a mission to find the best wrap artists in his neighborhood. But his day job is as the author-illustrator of Dawn Patrol and Love Tails, and as the illustrator of New York Times bestselling books Cupig: The Valentine’s Day Pig and Seth Meyers’s I’m Not Scared, You’re Scared! He has also illustrated books like Arlo Draws an Octopus, Proper Badger Would Never, and Big Rig Pig. Rob currently lives in San Francisco, California, with his family.
