Divine Incursions, Vol. 3 (manga)

Katagishi of the Divine Incursion Special Investigations Department has been called in to solve a mystery in his own missing wife’s hometown. It’s as rural as rural gets, filled by families with names from Ichihara (“First field”) to Juuhara (“Tenth field”). In this isolated village, cut off from the larger community living at the base of the mountain, Katagishi might finally be able to uncover the true nature of the guardians known as the “Lonely Gods”…
