About The Author
Troy M. Olson
TROY M. OLSON is a post-9⁄11 army veteran, lawyer-by-training, family man, writer, sergeant-at-arms for the New York Young Republican Club, and chairman of the Veterans Caucus. Troy is currently serving as a legislative director in the New York City Council. In addition to a JD, Troy has an MA in International Relations and has a background in politics, campaigns, law, writing, and real estate. Troy was born and raised in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and is based out of New York City where he lives with his wife, Jacqueline, and his son, Theodore.
GAVIN M. WAX is a New York–based conservative activist, commentator, columnist, and operative. He serves as the seventy-sixth president of the New York Young Republican Club, the oldest and largest young republican club in the country, and is a frequent guest on Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax, One America News, and Real America’s Voice News. Gavin’s articles have been published in American Greatness, American Thinker, The Daily Caller, The Federalist, Foundation for Economic Education, The Hill, Human Events, The Mises Institute, The National Pulse, Newsmax, Newsweek, RealClearDefense, RealClearPolicy, RealClearPolitics, and Townhall, among others.
