Sharon Suh, PhD

Sharon A. Suh, Ph.D.

Sharon A. Suh, Ph.D., is an intersectional feminist scholar and practitioner of Buddhism focusing on the intersections of religion, race, gender, trauma, and embodiment. She holds a Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies from Harvard University and an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School.

Dr. Suh has published widely in her areas of expertise. She has also received several trauma-informed certifications in mindfulness, yoga, and somatic healing modalities. She utilizes these certifications to lead workshops for faculty, staff, students, and the public. These workshops focus on healing race-based trauma through mindfulness and are presented at national conferences, universities, and religious organizations across the country.

She is the author of:
