Cynthia Pelayo

Cynthia Pelayo is a Bram Stoker Award-winning author and poet. Her works include Children of Chicago, The Shoemaker’s Magician, Loteria, Forgotten Sisters, Vanishing Daughters, the poetry collections Crime Scene and Into the Forest and All the Way Through, and more. She holds a master of fine arts in writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently pursuing a PhD in English. She lives in Chicago with her family.
