About The Author

Adam Gamble

Adam Gamble is a writer, photographer, and publisher. He is the author of many books in the Good Night Books series, In the Footsteps of Thoreau, and A Public Betrayed. He lives in Sandwich, MA.

Mark Jasper began his career writing about ghosts, with early works like Haunted Inns of New England and Haunted Cape Cod and the Islands. He later contributed to two Halloween specials for HGTV and the Travel Channel: Ghostly Homes of Cape Cod and Haunted New England. In 2007, Jasper joined the Good Night Books team, where he has since co-authored over 200 books, many of which have become Amazon best-sellers in their categories.

Ute Simon grew up in Southern Germany, where her surroundings greatly influenced her artistic development from a young age. She studied graphic design and illustration in Germany and at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. With several awards to her name, she worked as a digital artist in the internet industry before becoming a freelance illustrator and painter in 2001. Her work spans children’s fiction and non-fiction books, games, murals, prop design, oil portraits, and paintings for high-end cakes, including Oprah Winfrey’s 50th birthday cake. Her books are published internationally. Ute now lives and works in Reno, NV, inspired by the light of the Eastern Sierra Nevada and the northern Nevada desert.
