Critics Review
‘…no better tribute could be given than that by the current Lord Iveagh, who writes in the foreword that
this is “an entertaining masterpiece” in which the “essential character of the Guinness family spirit prevails”.’
– Country Living‘Tinniswood has created a tome of architectural brilliance, uncomfortable historical truths, and a complicated legacy of power and philanthropy.’
– The Irish Times’…an Irish version of Succession or, more precisely, Netflix’s current historical drama, House of Guinness. It is a compelling story of the family that became the biggest exporter of stout in the world’
– Country Life‘a brilliant, entertaining read for a dark October evening.’
