Alan Hohn brings 25 years of experience to his role as Director for Software Strategy at Lockheed Martin. He has served as a Lockheed Martin Fellow, software developer, architect, lead, and manager. Hohn has a proven track record of delivering production-ready applications using languages such as Ada, Java, Python, and Go, and has extensive experience with Linux dating back to the early 1990s.
He has led numerous software teams in modernization initiatives, successfully integrating cloud technologies, microservice architectures, and containerization into complex programs. Hohn is a certified Agile and DevSecOps coach and an experienced trainer in Java, Ansible, containers, software architecture, and Kubernetes.
Hohn holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
