Critics Review

“Light’s deft analysis [is] not just about the making of Rumours but the impact, legacy, and still white-hot relevance of the disc… . [T]hese Rumours will continue to hang around. And in this book, Alan Light turns them into facts.” —Houston Press“Informative [and] a lot of fun. Enjoyable writing and real insight power this fascinating look at a band who went their own way.” —Kirkus (starred review)“Combining vivid anecdotes and perceptive analysis, Light delivers both an unapologetic love letter to the album and a nuanced consideration of how music evolves along with its audience. Fleetwood Mac fans old and new will be enchanted.” —Publishers Weekly
