Python for Absolute Beginners (Edition1)

Alexander Pierce is a software engineer, educator, and writer with more than a decade of experience building production systems in Python. He has worked across web platforms, data pipelines, and developer tooling at companies of varying sizes, and has spent much of that time mentoring engineers who were either new to programming or new to Python.

Alexander came to programming the same way many readers of this book might: without a computer-science degree, without a clear roadmap, and with a long list of small confusions that took years to untangle. The experience left him with a deep conviction that the path from beginner to working programmer is often gated less by the difficulty of the material and more by the way it is taught. This book is his attempt to write the introduction he wishes he had been given.

When he is not writing code or writing about code, Alexander reads widely across history and the natural sciences, runs slowly along the riverbanks of whichever city he is living in, and is a quietly obsessive amateur photographer.
