Alison Lyssa

ALISON LYSSA is a widely published playwright, poet, essayist and short story writer. Who’d’ve Thought?, written for the Women’s Theatre Project, Telopea Theatre Group, was nominated for an AWGIE in 1991. Her short screenplay, The Silk, received a 1994 AFI nomination for Best Screenplay in a Short Film, and the film won an ATOM Award in 1995. Lyssa is a recent recipient of an Australian Writers’ Guild/ABC Radio Mentorship Award.
