About The Author
Alyson Gurney
Alyson Gurney is a 23-year-old Washington D.C.-based artist and the creator of “Little Felted Friends,” a popular brand featuring handmade felted animal replicas. Gurney’s artistic journey began with creating a miniature felted version of her own dog, Drift. Her online presence rapidly gained traction, transforming her hobby into a full-time career. She has created felted pieces for notable figures such as Kelly Clarkson, Paris Hilton, and Michael Strahan, and her work has been featured on various media outlets, including The Kelly Clarkson Show, Bored Panda, The Daily Mail, and FOX News. Gurney is an alumna of The Savannah College of Art and Design.
