What They're Saying

Critics Review

“This framework has stuck with my team unlike any other leadership programme. The mind map has become an everyday shorthand for problem-solving… This is an absolute game changer.” - Tanya Nolan, Managing Editor, Audio News and Current Affairs

“Ami’s work doesn’t hand you ready-made answers-it makes you a radically better thinker. Clear, accessible, and quietly transformative, the frameworks in The Map Gap are the exact tools that have delivered lasting, systemic change for the high-level leaders we serve.” - Dana Lightbody, CEO

“This framework really hits the mark. It builds awareness, encourages conscious choices, emphasises accountability, and develops the flexibility needed to deal with changing priorities and challenges… It builds immense self-awareness, stronger leadership capability, and a more constructive way to navigate complexity.” - Excerpts from Tim Finlayson (COO) & Kim Lion (Strategic People and Culture Leader)

About The Author

Ami Cook

Ami Cook is a professional coach, counsellor, and corporate consultant with over a decade of experience in human transformation, cognitive and systems thinking, and behavioural dynamics. Having featured in the Advanced MBA programme at the University of Technology Sydney and backed by thousands of coaching hours, the MindNavigator® system integrates neuroscience, psychology, systems thinking, and Eastern and Western contemplative traditions into a practical method for navigating complexity in real time. The Map Gap is its first full expression in book form.

Ami holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as professional qualifications in coaching, counselling, and therapeutic modalities. She is a sought-after speaker on mental agility, self-leadership, accountability, and performing under pressure.
