Andrew McDonald is the author of two beloved series for young readers: the bestselling Real Pigeons and the Hello Twigs graphic novels (published as Twig Friends in the US). He loves writing stories that make kids laugh, wonder and leap into the air with surprise, and regularly presents at schools and runs creative writing workshops. Ben is drawn to stories that are funny and heartfelt, and his lively illustrations reflect his love for graphic novels and animation.
