Andrew Niccol

Andrew Niccol, a New Zealander, wrote The Truman Show before turning his hand to directing. Gattaca, also an original screenplay by Niccol, was his feature film directing debut–a science fiction drama about genetic discrimination. Academy Award® nominee Peter Weir previously directed Witness, Dead Poet’s Society, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Gallipoli, The Year of Living Dangerously, The Mosquito Coast, and Fearless. He lives in Australia.
