“A practical guide to reminiscence work and a must for anyone involved with training carers to plan and run groups or work with individuals. Each chapter has usefully linked training activities and thinking points running through the text. There is also a helpful list of summary points at the end of each section. The comprehensive chapters on reminiscence work with people suffering from dementia and those from minority cultures, complete the handbook as an excellent resource.” OTOP Magazine ‘Is intended for use by anyone involved in reminiscence work with older people…several chapters consider running reminiscence groups.’ - Working with Older People ‘A lot of good material…photo-copiable tables, charts, aims etc very useful.’ - Facts & Fiction ‘This pack aims to provide a practical guide to initiating reminiscence work with individuals and small groups.’ - Age Concern
