Critics Review

“This is not just another excellent cookbook, but love itself - for Ukraine and her brave people. Scrupulously and bravely researched and photographed on the ground, I feel so proud to be Anna’s fellow country woman and colleague.”―Olia Hercules, author of Mamushka: Recipes from Ukraine Beyond

“Anna’s book is a magnificent journey through Ukrainian cuisine and culture. She has traveled across Ukraine to cook with all kinds of people, from soldiers defending frontline territory to those who champion and celebrate Ukrainian heritage. You will fall in love with these dishes, from syrniki to stuffed vegetables. And together with the stunning photos by Jason Perry, it will make you want to visit Ukraine for yourself. Anna’s recipes are the best introduction to this beautiful and courageous land.”Felicity Spector, author of Bread War
