About The Author
Ben Tertin
Ben Tertin (he/him) is a pastor and teacher in Portland, Oregon, living out the adventure of a life with his wife and 2 (tree-climbing) kids.
With a foreword from Dwayne Fields, a British polar explorer, television presenter, and speaker. He is the first black Briton to reach the North Pole, and only the second black man in the world to achieve this feat. Born in Jamaica, he grew up in Hackney, London. He is a passionate advocate for the outdoors and hopes his achievements will inspire young people in inner cities. Dwayne was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in 2013.
