Bibiana Moncada is a professor at the Universidad Distrital in Bogotá, Colombia, and a curator at the Botanical Garden and Botanical Museum of Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin. She oversees a collection of four hundred thousand lichen specimens.
Robert Lücking is Head of the Department of Evolution and Biodiversity at the Botanical Garden and Botanical Museum of Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin. He is also the author, with Toby Spribille, of The Lives of Lichens (Princeton).
