God Is Doing a New Thing

★★★★★ A Prophetic Wake-Up Call for the Modern Church

Bill Vincent’s God Is Doing a New Thing is not a comfortable read-and that is precisely why it is so necessary. In an era where the church has grown fat on programs, titles, and predictable services, Vincent delivers a prophetic hammer blow that shatters complacency and calls believers back to the raw, unpredictable presence of God.

What sets this book apart is its unflinching honesty. Vincent does not hold back. He addresses the one-man ministry model, the idolatry of position, the fear of change, and the spiritual deadness that has settled over much of the church. His words are not abstract theology-they are born out of personal experience, including death threats during revival, being fired for prophetic boldness, and the daily struggle to remain a servant in a world obsessed with status.

The book is at once convicting and hopeful. Vincent does not just diagnose the problem; he points the way forward. He calls the church to lay down its old wineskins, embrace the new thing God is doing, and become a prototype for revival. His emphasis on servanthood over title, and presence over program, is a much-needed corrective for today’s church culture.

Readers should be prepared to be uncomfortable. This book will challenge your assumptions, confront your complacency, and stir a holy dissatisfaction with the status quo. But for those who are hungry for more of God, it will also ignite a fire that cannot be extinguished.

God Is Doing a New Thing is essential reading for pastors, leaders, and any believer who dares to believe that the church can be more-and that God is not finished yet.
