New Avengers By Brian Michael Bendis Omnibus Vol. 2

Brian Michael Bendis is an award-winning comic-book creator and one of the most successful writers in the industry. His work includes acclaimed runs on Daredevil, Avengers, House of M, Secret War, Secret Invasion, Siege, Age of Ultron, and Civil War II. He wrote every issue of Ultimate Spider-Man from its launch in 2000, introducing Miles Morales to the Marvel Universe. Bendis also wrote All-New X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Invincible Iron Man, and Defenders. His creator-owned projects include Scarlet, Brilliant, Takio, and the Eisner Award-winning Powers.

Leinil Francis Yu’s interest in comics began at age 11 with How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way. After tutelage from Whilce Portacio, he landed his first mainstream work on Wolverine in 1997. Yu has since worked on titles such as Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, Superman: Birthright, and Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk. He collaborated with Brian Michael Bendis on Secret Invasion and has since worked on event comics like Avengers & X-Men: Axis and IVX, as well as Star Wars.

Michael Gaydos honed his craft at the Cleveland Institute of Art, becoming an accomplished illustrator, painter, and printmaker. He first collaborated with Brian Michael Bendis on the crime-noir series Jinx and later on the critically acclaimed Alias. Gaydos’ work has been published by DC, Image, Tundra, NBM, Caliber, and White Wolf, including contributions to Negative Burn, The Crow, and the graphic novel Heaven’s War. He reunited with Bendis to illustrate Jessica Jones’ baby’s birth in The Pulse.

David Mack submitted his first Kabuki collection as his college senior thesis. He has won numerous comic-industry awards, including an Eisner Award for Best Painter. Mack’s work on Marvel’s Daredevil included covers for “Parts of a Hole” and writing the “Echo: Vision Quest” storyline, which reintroduced his character Echo. He continues to write and illustrate his creator-owned series Kabuki and has been nominated for multiple Eisner, Kirby, and Harvey awards. Mack also wrote the adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s Electric Ant for Marvel and was nominated for a Writers Guild Award and a Producers Guild Award for his work on Showtime’s Dexter.

Jim Cheung began his association with Marvel Comics in the 1990s, drawing titles such as Black Knight, Force Works, Iron Man, Maverick, and X-Force. He also worked on the CrossGen series Scion. In 2005, Cheung launched Young Avengers and later illustrated New Avengers: Illuminati with Brian Michael Bendis. He reunited with Allan Heinberg for Avengers: The Children’s Crusade. Cheung’s style has made him sought-after for covers and event series, including contributions to Infinity, Avengers & X-Men: Axis, and Civil War II.
