Ivan Barrera was born in 1992 in Colombia. Since childhood, he enjoyed playing with plasticine and watching animated movies, which sparked his love for children’s illustration, storytelling, and inspiring others through his work. He has collaborated on various children’s projects, including animated videos, books, children’s magazines, and exhibitions with clients worldwide in countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Australia, Scotland, England, and USA. In his illustrations, he likes to use bright colors and different textures. When he is not illustrating, Ivan loves spending time with his family and enjoys resting in nature, watching movies, documentaries, or playing video games. He currently lives in Bogota´ with his wife Keyla and his two furry companions, his dog Toby and his cat Gray.
