Carol Floriani studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and graduated from Rider University. She spent many years working in the editorial and publicity departments of a major publishing house before pursuing her writing career.

In addition to Invitation to Murder, she has authored two young adult novels. Carol Floriani resides in New Jersey and New York City with her husband, an attorney.
