About The Author

Catherine Joy White

Catherine Joy White is a gender advisor for the United Nations, writer, actor and filmmaker. Her debut screenplay, Fifty-Four Days, was released in Autumn 2022, and her first book, This Thread of Gold, was published by Dialogue Books in June 2023. She has been honoured as a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, long-listed for AllBright’s ‘Innovative Trailblazer Award’ and heralded as one of ‘Five Activists Who Should Be On Your Radar’ by the Trouble Club (previous speakers including Gloria Steinem and Margaret Atwood).
